We are Team Farrago, the official efficycle team of College of Engineering, Trivandrum. Our Team Farrago was established about 5 years ago by a group of tech savvy and motor enthusiastic youngsters. Our objective is to motivate young engineers to build sustainable and economically viable solutions for transport and also to help them gain industry oriented skill sets.

“EFFI-CYCLE” derived from Efficient-Cycle started with the objective of providing opportunity to the Engineering Students to Conceive, Design and Fabricate a three wheel configuration vehicle powered by Human-Electric Hybrid power and capable of seating two passengers catering to the day to day mobility needs. SAE-India conducts SAE Efficycle every year, a national level inter-collegiate competition for engineering students in India. The event happens in two rounds - an initial virtual round and the final round which was held at LPU, Punjab in 2022.

From its inception our team has been participating in the Efficycle competition organised by SAE Northern India Section and has been performing consistently. In 2020 our team bagged 2 out of 5 awards including 'The Best Project Report'. Again in 2021, also an online event, our team became the 4th best in the national level. It is worthwhile to consider that more than 20 participants from colleges all around the country competed in the event. Our achievements were subsequently featured in a leading Malayalam daily.
